When we talk about waterfalls, we  always thought of refreshing and cold water streaming down from the mountains. If you are one of us who appreciate such scenery and experience, you should definitely start planning your trip to Lombok, Indonesia where they posses two of the most beautiful waterfalls that you could experience called Tiu Kelep and Sendang Gile. The waterfalls are located at the foot of Mount Ranjani  and you can hire a tour guide if it is your first time.

Starting from the entrance, it took us 15 minutes to get to the first waterfall, Sendang Gile. At the location, we enjoyed the gorgeous view and refreshing air while enjoying some snacks that locals sells in the perimeter. We didn’t go into the water because we were told that we should save it for the next waterfall that we are about to visit!

After 30 minutes, we packed our bags and proceed to the second waterfall, Tiu Kelep. Getting there took us 30-40 minutes and crossing multiple rivers, the journey might be tiring but it will be worth it. You might want to wear a proper shoes for the journey, because we did not and that gave us some hard time making sure we didn’t slip or fall.

Once arrived, we feast our eyes with the beauty of mother nature. Water streaming aggressively down over the mossy rocks, water splashes and sprinkles touching our cheeks softly, and the cold purifying freshness.

After spending some time enjoying the cold and refreshing water, we decided to head back but instead of using the same route we took the  water tunnel. The tunnel was pitch- black and was filled with water up to our ankle along with a slight current. So you might want to be careful and be aware of where and what you are stepping on,  however good news is there will be kids will offer to help to guide you while you’re in the tunnel making sure you don’t hurt yourself! You might want to tip them to thank the kids for their hard work 🙂
